PMA
Minimum Package of Activities
Routine curative care, maternal and child health, prevention and chronic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, sickle-cell anaemia…).
PCA
Complementary Package of Activities
Internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, and paediatrics.
SPEC
Specialised and super-specialised services
Laboratory, medical imaging, ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry and specialty medicines.
Quality assurance
Three dimensions of a health mutual (MUSA) and of its mutualist identity frame the partnership with health facilities:
- Contracting after assessment of technical capacity
- Contracts renewed every two years
- Monitored by the Satisfaction Commission made up of trade unionists, at both national and provincial level
